Jennifer Friend is grand prize winner in AMC KCWIFT Screenwriting Contest
Jennifer Friend, Ph.D. an associate professor in the UMKC School of Education, received a grand prize from AMC Theatres and Kansas City Women in Film & Television for the short screenplay “The Rest of Her” during the April 15 Kansas City FilmFest Award ceremony.
